Tricia Manuel

Pricilla Mooseburger

The unmistakable Pricilla Mooseburger got her clowning start with Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus. Since then she has devoted her life to Clown Arts Education, touring the country providing innovative classes and opportunities at conventions festivals and camps.

Not only does she love to teach, she loves to bring the best educators to you. Mooseburger Clown Arts Education is her vocation and life's work.

Join her in a class and you will experience one of the brightest clown arts educators sharing the art of clowning today. You will receive and education and make a friend.

Currently she tours the country teaching, performing, selling Pricilla Mooseburger Original costumes, Mehron make-up, and a new wig dept.

In her spare time she is a tireless volunteer in Maple Lake, her home town, as well as a frequent performer and producer in the Maple Lake Community Theater.

She is the mother of Julia

RETURNING Faces at MOOSE CAMP!

Fred Baisch

Fred is an award winning clown as well as an accomplished magician.

He owns one of the largest magic shops in the world, Twin Cities Magic, in St. Paul Minnesota,

We are thrilled that Fred takes time from his busy schedule to be with us at Moose Camp

Fred is a big part of our Dealer Room he brings a huge magic shop to Moose Camp along with everything you need in magic, balloons, puppets and more.

Then he breaks out all of his personal favorites and trade secrets and hauls them up to the classroom to share in his comedy magic course.

Fred has been a perfect addition to Moose Camp. He fits in perfectly with his giving teaching style, his real love of being a clown himself, and his chance to mess around and laugh with all of us instead of being trapped in his huge magic shop!

Fred is teaching the course on Comedy Magic, of course!

He became one of the gang the first day he was here. We expect to keep him around for years to come!

Check him out online at his company, Twin Cities.

Karen Bell
Karen believes clowns serve a deeper purpose than mere diversion. On a whim, when she was young, Karen attended a clowning class offered by the Pickle Family Circus. She was hooked! Later, when the "Greatest Show on Earth" came to town, Karen auditioned-and was accepted-at the world famous Ringling Brothers Clown College. During her eight years clowning around the globe with RBBB, Karen was the brains behind some of our favorite gags, and brought laughter into the lives of millions. She hid her ability to write and produce gags, but we found out about that too, and so she became apart of the team that teaches circus gags at Moose Camp!
She has appeared on the CBS Circus Specials, Today Show, Good Morning America and Entertainment Tonight. Also, she has created several one-woman stage shows and is the star of Disney's 'Let's Go to the Circus' Sing-a-Long Video.

For those of you who really want to hone your stage presence and create your own skits, be sure to check out her course: Performance Skills and Gag Writing!

Greg & Karen DeSanto

Currently in their third decade as professional circus clowns, Greg and Karen DeSanto are one of the very few husband and wife comedy teams working in America today. Both graduated from Ringling Clown College (Greg in 1985, Karen in 1993) and went on to have careers with The Greatest Show on Earth, whether it was writing, producing, directing, or starring in gags. The DeSantos have served as consultants for Feld Entertainment and have directed the clown material for many editions of RBBB Circus. Besides Ringling, the DeSantos have also performed at the White House, Big Apple Circus Clown Care, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Madison Square Garden, and other fun locales and programs all over the world. For seven seasons, Greg and Karen were the favorite resident clowns at Circus World Museum in Baraboo, WI.
Greg DeSanto will be pairing up with Karen Bell to teach the "Performance Skills & Gag Writing" Main Course. Karen DeSanto will be teaching the Main Course on "Hospital & Caring Clowning" Check out their website at www.gregandkarendesanto.com.

Sweet Connie

Connie Kennedy came to us as a student and has stayed as a friend. We made her staff because we can't do without her! You will find her behind the registration desk and anywhere you need a helping hand. If you have questions about face painting, organizing a clown alley, or just about anything to do with clowning - just ask her. After all, there is a reason we call her "Sweet Connie"! She is a travel agent as well and can help you with your travel questions and plans for coming to any of our programs!
She said it best in her own words: "So.you wanna be a clown?" I've heard Master Clown "Frosty" Glen Little sing that little song on more than one occasion. So, I never would have dreamed that it would be possible - me? - A clown? Then, in 1999, I was introduced to Pricilla Mooseburger, aka Tricia Bothun, Glen "Frosty" Little, Dave Mitchell, Cheri Venturi and Rex Nolen. My life, as they say, has never been the same. The technical skills that I learned through each of them took me to a new, higher level and it also taught me that as long as you are coachable - you can be teachable - and the sky's the limit!"

If you need to make travel arrangements or flights to Moose Camp, check out her online travel agency for clowns: Gulliver's Travel.

Rex Nolen was a teenager selling cotton candy at Kansas City's Municipal Auditorium when he first saw Otto Griebling perform and got hooked on clowning. Later, under the tutelage of Master Clown Frosty Little, Rex learned the finer points of physical comedy, timing, delivery, classic gags, and pyrotechnics. He loves passing along what he's learned over the course of 15 years of roughly 250 gigs a year, including birthday parties, festivals, grand openings, and special events.

No one teaches you how to put a routine together quite like Rex. Rex has been a favorite member of the Mooseburger Camp staff for many years.

Terry performed in the Air Force 1975-79 with a Hospital Visitation Program. In 1980, he began working with a nationally recognized food service.

Currently, Terry works for the Arizona Public Service (APS), the states largest utility in the Communications/Creative Services Department. He functions as Head of the APS Volunteer Clown Troupe - some 125 volunteer clowns participating in parades and special events statewide.
