Moose Camp Caravan FAQ

How do we get to Camp? We have our own travel agent! Connie Kennedy is a former student and trusted staff member. She can answer all your questions regarding Moose Camp and help you figure out how to get there as well!

Who can come? At the Caravans we accept all ages. Everyone must be registered, but we do accept children who are interested in becoming clowns or who already perform. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

What will we learn? Each Camp teaches make-up, costuming, magic, birthday parties, skits, comic movement character development, balloons, kazoo band, and a variety of performance skills. Check out the schedule for each camp to be sure.

Will there be stuff to buy? Each camp has a dealers room for you to see the tools of the trade up close. Pricilla Mooseburger Originals will be available with all the wonderful costumes, accessories, books, music CD's, Mehron make-up, and more. Other dealers will also be invited as well. Most all accept checks and credit cards.

Do We Have to Perform? At each Caravan we offer a performance opportunity. We strongly believe you learn by doing. Even if you are brand new to clowning you can learn from participating in the kazoo band! If you have been performing for yours never under estimate what you can learn from putting together a show and working together. Bring your stuff and join in the fun!

Is it all lecture? Hardly. Our staff is a hands on group, so expect to dive in, dig in and get involved. You will be moving in the comic movement class, slapping it on in the make-up lab, and strutting your stuff in the performance lab. But don't worry, we are there for you. We will be your training wheels when you need it.

Where will be stay? In each location we have made arrangements for you. Check it out on the registration page.

What will we eat? Clown's love to eat. There will be plenty of time to get something to eat. But if you have special dietary needs let us know.

Will it be fun? Guaranteed!
